"emma, i think we need this for the apartment," amanda said.

emma turned around and rolled her eyes,"amanda, where the hell are we going to put a slip n slide?"

"duh, in the living room"

"omg shut up and just help me find something for marie."

amanda stuck her tongue out at emma and put the slip n slide back.

they were at toys r us looking for a present for emmas niece. the only problem was that amanda kept finding things that she needed for the apartment.

amanda sighed dramatically,"im going to look at the video games."

"fine fine. its not like you were much help anyways."

amanda stuck her tongue out at emma and skipped off. emma wandered around for a bit before settling on a doll for her niece. as she was rounding a corner looking for amanda, she walked right into a display and another person.

"holy crap...." she said watching the barbies go crashing down.

"whoops. are you ok....emma?"

she glanced in the direction of the voice,"oh hey nick."

"hey...okay you know what, i dont want to clean this up. come on." he grabbed her hand and took off down one of the aisles. he finally stopped a few aisles over.

"sorry about walking into you, i was looking for brian and not paying attention."

"its okay, i was trying to find amanda. where are the video games?"

"ill show you." he headed in the direction of the video games and she followed him,"so who are you getting the doll for? if you dont mind me asking."

"my niece. her birthday is in a few days. what are you here for?"

"a basketball hoop, brian broke mine."

"speaking of, where is he?"

nick rolled his eyes,"he went to lo--"

"EMMA!!!"

both nick and emma turned around. emma laughed,"hi brian."

he smiled and hugged her,"whats up?"

"nothing. just doing a little shopping."

"us too. nick broke the basketball hoop."

"i did not!"

"yeah yeah, sure nick." brian leaned over and whispered to emma,"just pretend like hes right. it will make him feel better."

nick rolled his eyes,"anyways, where did aj go?"

"i dunno, i thought he was with you."

"no, he we--"

"hey guys. hey emma."

emma smiled,"hi aj."

"dude, i was looking for you,"brian said.

"i told you i was going to look at the stuffed animals."

"and i said i didnt want to go that way."

"so?"

nick rolled his eyes,"guys...."

"sorry emma. anyways, i was over at the video game section looking for a birthday present for nick--"

"my birthday was two months ago aj."

"yeah, so? do you or dont you want a present?'

"ANYWAYS...."

aj sighed dramatically,"so anyways, i was over there and i saw this girl so i went to talk to her and she was so rude to me! i wonder if she knows who i am...."

brian rolled his eyes,"maybe she doesnt care."

aj pouted,"but im a backstreet boy."

emma laughed,"i care."

Aj smiled proudly, “see, someone cares.”

“ugh emma, there you are. Some freak guy just tried to hit on me and why are you standing here talking to him?” amanda said approaching them.

Emma tried not to laugh, “amanda this is aj. Aj this amanda.”

Aj made a face, “you know her?”

Emma laughed, “yeah, shes my best friend and amanda, hes in the group I was just hired to work for.”

“ew, im sorry.”

“hey, were not all bad,” brian said.

Emma smiled, “amanda, this is brian and nick.”

Amanda glanced at them, “nice to meet you brian. You too blondie.”

Nick raised an eyebrow, “ANYWAYS.”

Emma glanced at them, “you know, since amanda is my assistant—“

“excuse me…?”

“that MEANS she’ll be touring with us,” emma continued.

“around the world…?” Amanda asked.

Emma tried not to smile and nodded.

Amanda thought about it for minute, “fine, just keep the freak away from me.”

“Amanda….”

“then I guess we gotta keep her away from the mirrors,” aj said.

“aj….” Brian warned.

Nick glanced at all of them, grabbed emmas hand again, and took off back down the aisle.
