chapter nine: the date
Amanda woke up the next morning without really remembering what happened last night. It wasn't because she didn't want to, just because her memory was absolutely horrible in the morning. She went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. Once she was done, she was still a little sleepy and she opened the door and Emma was standing there smirking. Amanda jumped a little and asked, "What do you want…?" with a raised eyebrow.
"You have to hurry and get ready. We have to go get your dress," said Emma, smirking. Amanda's eyes widened and she tried to make a run for it. Emma grabbed onto her arm and held her back.
"Let go of me!" said Amanda.
"You lost the bet. You're going to wear a dress!" said Emma.
"What if it's not a formal date?!" asked Amanda, sounding hopeful.
Emma smirked again and said, "Oh, you don't have to worry about that. I already had a talk with AJ to make sure he takes you to a nice, formal dinner, and a very romantic date."
"…You did not," said Amanda.
"You know me better than that," said Emma. Amanda sighed and looked down. Emma smiled and said, "So hurry up and get ready. We don't have that much time."
Amanda made a face and went into the bathroom. "And dont take a long time because the longer you take the more time we spend shopping," Emma said as she put on her coat.
Amanda's eyes widened and she quickly got dressed. She came out of the bathroom and glared at Emma, "You know I hate you right?"
Emma nodded and grabbed her arm, "Come on. Lets go say good bye to the boys."
Amanda rolled her eyes but followed her. They got to the boys room and Emma knocked on the door. "Just a se--ow! AJ that hurt!"
Both girls glanced at each other and rolled their eyes. A minute later Nick answered the door out of breath and rubbing his arm. Emma sighed, "What now?"
"Huh? Oh we were just wrestling and he pushed me into the dresser. What's up?" he said not quite looking at Amanda, still feeling a little guilty.
"We just came by to tell you we're leaving to buy Amanda's dress for tonight," Emma said with a big smile while Amanda mumbled under her breath.
Nick couldnt help but laugh,"Okay. Have fun and dont forget to buy me something."
Amanda rolled her eyes and Emma kissed Nick on the cheek, "Okay. And don't break anything...like your bones." She poked her head in the room and yelled bye to AJ before once again, grabbing Amanda's arm and dragging her towards the elevators.

Amanda looked in the windows of the shops as they walked down the street. "Im so not wearing any of that crap," she mumbled under her breath.
"I heard that and what i pick out for you wont be crap. Now shut up and come on," Emma said going into one of the dress shops.
Amanda looked in the window of the shop and it took her all the strength she had not to run away. She sighed and followed Emma inside. Emma, who was looking through a bunch of dresses, looked up and sighed, "Look Amanda. You aren't going to a funeral so get that depressed look off your face. Your going on a date with a very cute guy who likes you so shut up and start looking."
Amanda's jaw dropped,"But I--"
"I don't want to hear it. Start looking. now."
Amanda made a face but went to look through a rack. Emma came over to her a few minutes later, her arm loaded down with clothes. Amanda's eyes widened,"Omg...what is all that?!"
"Stuff for you to try on, come on," Emma said leading the way to the dressing rooms.
"But I'm not trying all of that stuff on~~" Amanda said, starting to whine.
Emma rolled her eyes, "Its not all yours." She handed Amanda all but four things, "Im buying this stuff for me."
"Emma~~"
"Omg...shut up and get in there," Emma said pushing her into a dressing room. "And your gonna come out and show me every outfit you try on."
"Uh uh."
"Yes you are and dont argue with me. Just start trying stuff on. We still have to find shoes to go with whatever you end up getting and pick out some make up for you," Emma said sitting down outside the dressing room.
"Make up as in lipstick, right?" Amanda said poking her head out of the dressing room.
"And eyeliner, and shadow, and powder, and mascara," Emma said pushing her head back in.
Amanda made a face and started to try on the clothes. About 50 outfits later Emma sighed and stood up. "I'm gonna see if i can find anything else okay?"
Amanda sighed and came out of the dressing room, "Don't get anything short this time."
Emma glanced at her and did a double take. "Omg...that dress is perfect."
Amanda looked at her reflection in the mirror and shrugged, "If you say so."
Emma rolled her eyes, "Don't change yet. I'm gonna find you a pair of shoes and i want to see how they look with the dress."
Amanda rolled her eyes but nodded. Emma left the dressing room to look for shoes while Amanda silently prayed she didn't bring back platforms. Amanda looked at her reflection again and sighed. She was wearing a long burgundy dress with spaghetti straps, a slit up one side, and little black flowers embroidered across the top.
"Okay, try these," Emma said returning with a box of shoes. She took the shoes out and handed them to Amanda.
Amanda stared at them, "I can't wear these. They're like two inches high."
"An inch. Put them on."
"Emma, be serious. I can't walk in these things."
Emma rolled her eyes, "Look at mine and i walk just fine."
Amanda glanced at Emma's four inch platform boots, "But your used to it."
"Jeezus...just shut up and put the damn shoes on!"
Amanda jumped slightly but sat down and put the shoes on. They were black, one inch, open toed platforms. She stood up and turned to face Emma.
Emma smiled proudly, "Damn I'm good. Okay, go change and we can go pick out some make up then head back to the hotel."
Amanda sighed and stumbled back into the dressing room. She handed Emma the shoes and dress and continued to finish getting ready. When she was done she met Emma by the door. Emma handed her two bags, "One has the dress, the other has the shoes and some jewelry."
Amanda eyed the other three bags, "And that....?"
"Is mine. Now lets go." She grabbed Amanda's arm and headed down the street towards the department store.

Emma checked her watch as they stepped into their hotel room later that afternoon. "Okay, we have two hours before he's coming to get you. We better get to work."
Amanda raised an eyebrow, "I only need 15 minutes."
Emma rolled her eyes, "Yeah, to put on jeans and a t-shirt. This is a little different."
"Fine, whatever," Amanda said, sitting on her bed.
Emma pulled a set of travel rollers out of her bag and looked at Amanda, "Get up. Go wash your hair, blow dry it, and put on a button down shirt."
"What for?"
Emma rolled her eyes and plugged in the rollers, "Because I said so. Now move before I call Nick to see if he wants to come and help."
Amanda glared at her and went into the bathroom. Emma smiled and pulled out everything they had bought that afternoon and set it out. About 20 minutes later Amanda came out of the bathroom, a pained look on her face, expecting the worse.
Emma smiled sweetly, which only looked evil to Amanda and said, "Sit down."
Amanda took a deep breath and sat down in front of Emma praying that her torture would be short and painless.
* * * * * * * * *
"Amanda, sit still!!" Emma said stomping her foot in frustration.
"No! I've been sitting still for a friggin hour!"
"Shut up. I'm almost done. Now close your eyes," Emma said once again attempting to apply eyeliner to Amanda's eyes.
Amanda sighed and slumped down in her seat. Emma smiled and finally managed to finish. "Okay, you're all done."
"How thrilling."
Emma rolled her eyes, "Shut up and go get dressed."
"'Shut up and go get dressed," Amanda mimicked as she went into the bathroom.
Emma gave her a look and called over to Nick's room.
"Hello?" Nick said picking up the phone.
"Hi Nicky, it's me."
Nick smiled, "Hey, did you guys just get back?"
"Nope. We've been back for about an hour. I've been getting Amanda ready. How's it going with AJ?"
"I've never seen him so nervous. Ever."
"Aw, that's cute."
Nick laughed, "He's changed outfits and hair colors about four times."
"Well I have to say I did a pretty good job with Amanda."
Nick smirked,"Mandy's gonna be we--"
"NICK!!"
Nick jumped slightly and sighed, "I gotta go Em. AJ needs help."
Emma laughed, "Okay. I'll see you in a bit."
"K...love you."
"Love you too. Bye," Emma said and hung up.
Nick hung up and turned to AJ, "What now?"
"What about this suit?"
Nick shrugged, "What about it?"
"How does it look?!"
Nick rolled his eyes, "Like the other ones you've tried on."
"But its not. Does it look okay?"
"Yeah. Dude, what are you stressing over? I mean, its just Amanda."
AJ adjusted the collar of his black pinstripe jacket, "Why were you stressing over your first date with Emma? I mean, its just Emma."
"Thats different. I mean this is Amanda. The Amanda whose naked baby pics we've all seen."
"And the Amanda who beat the crap out of us for looking at them." He finished messing with his now blonde hair and turned around, "Well...?"
Nick raised an eyebrow, "Well what?"
AJ rolled his eyes, "Nevermind." He glanced in the mirror one last time. He was wearing a black pinstripe suit, black button down shirt, black and white spectators, and black framed tinted glasses. He took a deep breath. "Okay, lets go," he said heading out the door.
Nick cleared his throat,"...Bone..."
AJ stopped and turned around, "What?"
Nick pointed to the rose sitting on the bed. "Oh yeah." AJ picked it up and headed out of the room with Nick behind him.
* * * * * * * * *
"Come on Amanda~~"
"No."
"Just one~."
"NO! NO PICS! I don't need any reminders of what I look like."
There was a knock on the door and Emma grinned. "Nevermind. Your date is here."
Amanda's eyes widened and she raced into the bathroom. Emma rolled her eyes and went to answer the door. "Hey guys. Come in. AJ, you look really nice."
AJ smiled nervously and walked in, "Thanks. Is Amanda ready?"
"Shes hiding in the bathroom," Emma said as Nick kissed her on the cheek.
Nick rolled his eyes and raised his voice, "Well if she doesn't come out, I'll gladly go through her suitcase and show AJ all the things he's not supposed to see..."
"Don't you dare touch my stuff!!" Amanda said coming out of the bathroom.
Both guys' jaws dropped and Emma smiled proudly at her work. "Wow...Mandy actually looks like a girl." Emma elbowed Nick while Amanda glared at him.
"Um...uh...hi..." AJ said walking over to her.
Amanda glanced at him and blushed, "Hi."
"You look really nice. This is for you," he said handing her the rose.
She turned a little redder and took the rose, "Thanks. So do you."
"Such conversationalists..." Nick mumbled under his breath.
Emma pinched his arm and gave him a look. "You two should go. Don't you have reservations AJ...?"
"Oh yeah." He offered Amanda his arm, "Shall we?"
She couldn't help but smile and take his arm. Emma walked over and ever so nicely pushed them out the room, "Have fun!"
Amanda stumbled slightly but caught herself before AJ could notice. "This is gonna be a long night," she mumbled to herself.
After they left, Nick whispered to Emma, "Do you think they'll be okay?"
"They'll be fine," she replied as she nodded, "Amanda can't really do much in what she's wearing anyways."
AJ and Amanda got into a black van with tinted windows and drove off. Amanda avoided any eye contact with AJ. AJ would glance over at Amanda time to time seeing her looking out the window. "Where we headed?" asked Amanda, still staring out of the window.
AJ smiled slightly and said, "You'll see."
She finally looked over at him and asked, "You're not going to tell me are you?" AJ smiled and shook his head. "Brat." She stuck out her tongue and then looked down at what she was wearing and sighed. She started messing with her dress and her hair.
AJ laughed and said, "If you mess with it too much, your hair's going to get messed up."
"But it's bugging me!!" whined Amanda.
"You look fine, Amanda…actually…you look really pretty," said AJ, sort of blushing.
Amanda immediately stopped playing with her hair, blushed, and looked down. "Tha…thanks," she said.
AJ tried to think of what he could do to get rid of the uncomfortable air surrounding them.
AJ and Amanda got to the restaurant and he helped her out of the van. "Thanks," she said, as she took his hand and got out of the van. He replied with a smile and nodded. Amanda started walking off by herself, tripping about every other step. "I can't believe she made me wear these friggin shoes…" she mumbled as she walked. AJ followed her quietly, trying his best not to laugh. After a few more trips, she finally stopped and stomped on the ground. AJ smiled and went up to her.
"Here…" he said, taking her arm into his.
"…I can walk by myself," said Amanda stubbornly. She let her arm free and started walking again. AJ walked right next to her and she ended up running into him and grabbing onto his arm so she wouldn't fall over.
AJ smiled and helped her back up and took her arm again. "Just let me help you. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone that I helped you." Amanda looked down and hesitantly nodded. With that, they walked into the restaurant. Once they got to their table, AJ pulled out her chair for her.
"Thank you," she said as she sat down.
AJ nodded and took his seat. They looked through the menu and he said, "Pick whatever you want." Amanda nodded but the last thing she was was hungry. She was so nervous she was slightly shaking. She decided to get the smallest thing on the menu, so she'd have a smaller chance of spilling it or doing something stupid like that. She ended up ordering a small salad. AJ raised an eyebrow and said, "You're going to eat more than that."
"No, I'm not," argued Amanda.
"Yes you are. If you don't order something else, then you're going to share with me," said AJ.
Amanda laughed and said, "I'm not sharing with you."
"Then order something else," AJ ordered.
"No, I'm not ordering something else!" said Amanda.
"Fine, then I'm just gonna pick something randomly and you're gonna eat it," said AJ, covering his eyes with one hand and a finger wandering over the menu with his other hand.
"Okay, okay, I'll pick something else… jeez," said Amanda. She sighed and ordered a small side dish. "There, happy?"
AJ smiled and nodded. "Good girl," he said.
She raised her eyebrow and said, "Thank you, Daddy."
"Who's your Daddy?" asked AJ.
"You ain't him but you're going to have a chair leg stuck in your head if you don't shut up," said Amanda.
"I got you to talk didn't I?" asked AJ, smiling at his accomplishment.
Amanda laughed slightly and said, "You're such a dork."
"I know," said AJ, "but that's why you love me." He smiled the cheesiest grin he could do.
Amanda laughed and said, "You just keep thinking that. Maybe one day you can convince the rest of the world." AJ pouted and crossed his arms. "Alright, alright I take it back."
AJ smiled and squealed, "Yi…" but quickly covered his mouth.
"…Thank you, Nick," said Amanda.
"I didn't do that, you didn't hear it, I'm not Nick," said AJ, his hands still over his mouth.
"Uh huh…" said Amanda. Once their food came Amanda had her two tiny plates while AJ had three huge plates full of food. He happily ate while Amanda just gazed in amazement. "…You sure do eat a lot for a twig…"
"Hey…I'm not a twig," said AJ, eating away.
"No…you're just a very hungry twig…" said Amanda, slightly touching her food.
"I'm not a twig period, although I am hungry…and eat, Amanda," said AJ.
"I am…" said Amanda, just picking at her food.
"Eating requires more than picking at your food, now eat," ordered AJ. Amanda stuck her tongue out at him and started to eat her food little by little. AJ raised an eyebrow and asked, "Is that an offer?"
Amanda smirked and said, "Maybe."
AJ was taken a little by surprise. "Really?"
"No," she said, sticking her tongue back out at him.
"Hey…" said AJ, pouting.
"There you go being Nick again," said Amanda.
"I am not!!" argued AJ.
"Now you're whining, Nick," said Amanda.
AJ just mumbled and continued to eat. Amanda giggled and went back to eating. After dinner, they got back into the van and it started driving to AJ's other undisclosed location. Amanda stared out the window and let out another sigh. AJ frowned slightly and asked, "Am I that boring?"
Amanda looked up and said, "Huh? Oh, no you're not boring at all. It's just I'm stuck in a dress… with my hair done…and I have makeup on. I'm not exactly comfortable." She started to play with her hair again, annoyingly.
"Well, maybe you should do it a little more often. Then you'd get used to it," said AJ.
"I don't want to get used to it," said Amanda, still picking at her hair, "Besides, I don't look good in a dress."
"Yeah you do… you look beautiful," said AJ. Amanda blushed and looked down, "I'm serious, and I already told you that earlier."
"I do not…" mumbled Amanda.
"You do too, don't argue with me. I'm older, that means I'm right," said AJ.
"How'd you hear that and you are not right because you're older!," said Amanda.
"I have really good hearing," said AJ, smiling proudly.
"…You should have really good hearing considering you inherited your ears from Dopey," said Amanda.
AJ's jaw dropped to the floor and he pouted majorly. "My ears aren't that big… I just have good hearing…dang it," he whined.
Amanda laughed and said, "Okay, okay, fine. So they aren't that big. They can actually be kinda cute."
AJ smiled right up again. "Really?"
Amanda nodded and said, "But you didn't hear it from me."
AJ laughed and said, "Nope, I just heard a rumor saying a really beautiful girl thinks that my big Dopey ears are cute."
Amanda blushed again but managed to smile and say, "Yup, just a rumor."
The van continued for a little while longer and finally stopped. Amanda looked out her windows and realized that it's really hard to see at night when you're looking through tinted windows. "We're here," said AJ, opening the door and getting out, then helping her out as well.
She got out of the van and almost couldn't stand again. AJ helped her to her feet and she asked, "Where's here?" AJ pointed to something and Amanda looked in that direction. Amanda's jaw dropped. "Whoa…" They were standing right in front of the Eiffel tower.
"You're not scared of heights…right?" asked AJ.
"Huh? No, I'm not," said Amanda, still staring.
"Good, because a few years ago, we came here and I wanted to go up. Kevin said the only way he'd let me go up was if Brian came along. Of course stupid Brian refused so I didn't get to go," said AJ, frowning slightly.
Amanda giggled and said, "You do realize Kevin planned that, right?"
"Huh?" asked AJ.
"The reason Kevin said the only way you could go up there was if Brian agreed to go with you was because Kevin didn't want you to go up there. He knew very well that Brian wouldn't want to go up there considering how scared he is of heights."
AJ stood there a moment to put together everything she was saying. He finally understood what she was saying and his jaw dropped. "That…bully," he said.
Amanda laughed and asked, "Bully??"
"Well, I have some other words for him but I don't want to curse in the presence of a lady," said AJ.
Amanda rolled her eyes and said, "It's not like you haven't cussed in front of me before and I'm not a lady so I don't see what you're worried about."
"Just hush and let me try to act like a gentleman!" whined AJ, about to stomp his foot.
"Okay, okay, I'll shut up. Sorry, Mr. McLean," laughed Amanda.
AJ smiled up again and linked arms with Amanda. He paid their way in and they went up to the top of the tower. It was a clear cool night and the stars were out and their view was glittered millions of lights coming from the buildings down below all around them. Amanda looked out at the sight in amazement. "…Wow." She just stared out at the night sky and the cityscape of Paris. AJ stood next to her, saw her expression and smiled. He linked arms with her again and got a little closer. "It's beautiful…" she said, still looking out at Paris below her.
"I'm glad you like it," said AJ.
"…Thanks," said Amanda, "No one's ever done anything like this for me…"
"You're kidding. Your past boyfriends must have done something like this…" said AJ.
Amanda laughed it off and looked down, "I've…never had any boyfriends before."
AJ got a confused look on his face and asked, "You're kidding, right?" Amanda shook her head. "Are the boys at your school stupid or something? What about prom?"
"They weren't stupid. A lot of them were scared of me, or basically just didn't have any interest in me. I don't blame them. And, I…never went to prom…" said Amanda.
"You didn't…?" asked AJ, a little surprised.
Amanda sighed and shook her head. "Oh well, it's not like I wanted to go. I can't dance and I wouldn't want to dress up all formal anyways," she said.
"…Amanda, you're a dancer…" said AJ.
"…Okay, fine. I just…wouldn't want to get all dressed up just for some stupid dance," said Amanda. She was trying her best to hide her disappointment she long forgot about when she didn't go to prom but it showed up a little on her face.
"But prom is like a one-time thing," said AJ.
Amanda sighed again and said, "Look, it's in the past. It's no big deal. I wouldn't have had fun anyawys."
AJ frowned slightly and decided to back off. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black box. "I have something else for you," he said.
Amanda looked at him and asked, "You do?" He nodded and handed her the small box. "What's this?" She took it and examined it.
"It's a box," said AJ.
"…Well gee, thank you so much. I ALWAYS wanted a box," said Amanda.
"Just open it, smartass," laughed AJ.
Amanda gasped and said, "How dare you use that sort of language in front of a lady."
"Just open it!!" said AJ, still laughing.
"Fine, fine," said Amanda, opening the box. Inside there was a completely silver ring with a small rose in the middle of the ring. Amanda's jaw dropped again as she stared at the ring.
"I um…asked Nick and he said you didn't like gold, so… I got you a silver ring. You don't mind flowers…do you? I mean it's just one tiny little rose," said AJ.
Amanda shook her head still staring at the ring. "I love it…"
AJ smiled proudly and said, "It'd probably look better on your finger rather than the box." He took the ring out of the box for her and slipped it on her ring finger.
She continued to look at it in astonishment. She looked up at him and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you," she said, smiling.
AJ replied with a smile, "No problem." He wrapped his arms around her from behind and they stood there for a few minutes looking out again. Amanda leaned up against him and rested her head by his neck. A few minutes later, AJ gently tilted her head so she was facing him somewhat and kissed her gently on the lips. Amanda calmed down and closed her eyes, kissing back.
About an hour later, back at the hotel, Nick and Emma were up in her room watching a movie. Nick glanced over at the clock and asked, "Do you think they're okay…?"
Emma rolled her eyes and said, "Nicky, they're fine. I told you, Amanda can't do much with what she's wearing. She can barely walk." She smiled. "That means AJ would have to help her around."
"If they don't kill each other first," said Nick.
"They won't kill each other. She can't even walk, she won't be able to kill him," said Emma.
"…You'd be surprised what she can…" he said, but was interrupted by the door opening. Amanda and AJ walked in safe and sound, holding hands.
Before they could greet them, Emma said, "AWWWWWWWW. How cute~"
Amanda turned bright red and mumbled, "Shut…up."
"So did you guys have fun?" asked Nick.
AJ smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I know I did." They all looked over at Amanda.
She looked up still blushing and said, "So did I."
Emma smiled triumphantly and said, "See, I was right. How dare you doubt the princess."
Amanda rolled her eyes and Nick smirked saying, "Awww Mandy's all red. And she wooks so kyute with her dwess on, AWWWWWW." Completely in babytalk and started laughing.
Amanda gave him the look of death and reached down to take off her shoes. "That's it! Come here NICK."
Nick stopped laughing and said, "…You just called me "Nick"…but…"
AJ laughed and said, "I'd run now, Frack."
Right as Nick was going to reply, Amanda's shoe flew right past his head. While Amanda was trying to get the other one off, Nick scrambled out of the room. Emma rolled her eyes and shook her head. "PLEASE refrain from throwing those pretty damn expensive shoes at my boyfriend!!"
AJ was now cracking up and clutching his stomach. "Come back here, Blondie!" yelled Amanda, holding up her other shoe.
"I'm sorry!!" said Nick, from outside of the room.
"Damn right, you better be sorry," said Amanda, heading for the door.
Emma grabbed the shoe from her hand and said, "OMG STOP! You're dressed like a lady so at least act like one for one whole night. And…." She paused and looked up at Amanda's hair. "You've been messing with your hair…"
Amanda smiled innocently and said, "Um…no I didn't…"
Emma glared at her and said, "Yeah, you did. Look at it!! There's strands coming out everywhere!! Do you know how long I worked on your hair?!"
Amanda flinched and said, "I'm sorry!! I only messed with it a little!"
AJ just sat on the bed, way too amused by now. He just sat there watching the two girls argue until finally, Emma took her apology. Nick poked his head back into the room slowly. Amanda glared at him but let him come in. They sat and talked for about twenty minutes longer and then finally Nick and AJ went back up to their room. Amanda went into the bathroom to change into her pajamas and washed her face and hair real quickly. She came out to find Emma smirking at her. Amanda cautiously went over to her bed and sat down. "…What?" she asked.
Emma laid down on her tummy and said, "You have to tell me ALL about your date, or you're not going to sleep."
Amanda rolled her eyes and said, "I'm tired. I'm going to sleep, good night." She got into bed and covered the covers completely over her head.
"If you don't tell me… you're going to regret it…" said Emma, smirking.
Amanda rolled her eyes, still under the covers and said, "Give me a break. GOOD NIGHT."
Emma smirked and held a picture in her hand and said, "…Then I guess I'll have to tell AJ about this photograph I happened to find in your wallet…."
Amanda shot straight up and asked, "What the hell are you doing in my wallet and what picture?!"
Emma smiled innocently and showed her the picture. It was a really old picture of AJ with blonde hair. Amanda's eyes widened. "OMG, he has NO idea I have that! You are NOT saying a word about that picture! Give it to me!!"
"Nuh uh," said Emma, pulling the picture away. "Not until you tell me about your wonderful date with AJ."
Amanda glared at her and mumbled something under her breath. "You are such a brat."
Emma smiled proudly and said, "That's princess brat to you."
Amanda rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever…"
"You know you love me, now spill before I have Nick give this picture to AJ."
Amanda sighed and started talking about the date. She tried to leave out a few details but Emma somehow knew she was leaving something out and made her tell her everything. When she was finally done, Emma finally let Amanda go to sleep and so did she. Amanda covered her head with the covers again and she looked down at her new ring. She smiled at it and then closed her eyes and fell asleep.
