Chapter 7

"emma~~come on~~"

emma rolled her eyes and glanced at amanda,"nick, sweetie, i love you to death but shut up." amanda laughed and handed brian another bag to load into the bottom of the bus.

"but you wont answer me~~" he whined a little more.

emma sighed,"i dont know nick. ask kevin."

"okay," he said quickly and went to annoy kevin.

brian laughed and took faye's bags,"you already know how to get rid of him. this relationship is gonna last a while."

both emma and amanda laughed. "hey brian, when do we meet the new pr rep?"

"shes gonna meet us at rehearsal," howie replied for brian.

nick came back over pouting. "aw, what happened?" emma asked putting her arm around him.

"he said no cause you have to stay with aaron."

emma shook her head,"only four hours in the afternoon."

"so wait, then you can be on our bus the rest of the time?"

she nodded. he smiled and grabbed her hand dragging her into the bus. the others rolled their eyes and followed them into the bus.

"so how long is your mom gonna be with aaron?" faye asked.

"just until he gets his cast off, then shes gonna fly back home," nick said sitting down and pulling emma onto his lap.

"that means you have to be on your best behavior," brian said laughing.

nick smiled with a gleam in his eye,"i will," he said and kissed emma on the cheek.

the girls watched as the boys were flying over head. "how safe are those things?" faye asked.

both girls shrugged. "but faye, remember they've been doing this for a while without an accidents," amanda said.

"well other than when kev showed the audience his tommy's," emma said laughing.

faye laughed,"something i wouldnt mind seeing for myself."

"between that and wanting to pinch blondies big ghetto butt, your gonna be awfully busy," amanda said laughing.

the guys looked at the girls like they were crazy. they tried to stop laughing but unsuccessfully.

"um...excuse me. im looking for amanda greene."

amanda looked up,"thats me."

"hi, im joann. the new pr rep."

"oh! hi. this is emma, aarons tutor. and faye, the boys costume mistress."

the girls smiled and shook joann's hand. faye laughed,"your hand is shaking."

she blushed slightly and laughed, “im a little nervous."

"because of the job or the boys?" emma asked moving her stuff off the seat so joann could sit down.

she smiled and sat down,"a little of both."

"well their a big bunch of idiots, so that should ease some of your suffering," amanda said.

faye rolled her eyes,"ignore her. their very sweet guys."

joann laughed and nodded,"so when do i start my official job?"

"tomorrow," amanda said. "today the boys just wanted us to get used to everything."

she nodded as nick came over wiping his face with a towel. "hi im nick."

she smiled,"hi im joann."

"oh! your the lady..."

amanda rolled her eyes,"very good blondie."

"shut up mandy. i mean the pr lady." he turned and yelled to kevin who was still up on stage,"hey kev, shes here!"

joann blushed a little more while they waited for the rest of the guys to show up. nick went over to emma and kissed her on the cheek,"what do you think so far?"

"i think you guys work too hard and you stink. you need a shower."

he laughed,"i will when were finally done. we got about an hour left."

she nodded,"okay, until then dont touch me."

he pouted stuck his tongue out at her. joann looked back and forth between them. amanda noticed and glanced at her,"is something wrong?"

"huh? no. i just didnt know he had a girlfriend."

amanda nodded,"for about four days now."

"oh okay. their cute together. is anyone else dating?"

"faye and kevin but i dont think they want everyone to know k?"

joann nodded. the other four guys finally came over and introduced themselves. amanda caught herself blushing when aj came over in his wifebeater and looked away.

"hey girls, why dont you show her the bus and stuff," howie suggested.

they nodded and stood up. kevin kissed faye on the cheek,"okay, we'll see you guys in a bit then."

the girls nodded and went to give their new friend a tour while the boys went back to rehearsal.
