day 6: guess what...i have no idea what im wearing to dinner tonight. shocking huh? i mean, were going to dinner but its not a date so how exactly do i dress? im not gonna ask the moms cause they'll go into the whole "aww, nicky has a date~~" and i really dont want to go through that...hold on a minute, someones at the door...okay, back..it was aj. somehow he knew i needed help so hes trying to find me an outfit...okay hes pulling out some ugly crap...::sighs::...i gotta go before he dresses me in something HE would wear. ill write again when we get back. later.

"why isnt howie coming?" brian asked as they crowded into the elevator and headed down to the lobby.

"hes going to marissa's pity party," kevin said.

"shes such a big baby. i mean its JUST dinner," aj said. "im seriously thinking of breaking up with her."

"good," nick said. "you guys werent a good couple. besides, you deserve better."

aj laughed,"thanks frack."

they got out of the elevator and went out to the main lobby. kevin looked around and glanced at his watch,"its only five after. they'll probably be here in a few minutes."

they nodded and sat down to wait.

"emma! leighanne! would you hurry up already!" amanda yelled in the direction of their rooms.

emma glanced at leighanne and rolled her eyes,"she doesnt realize when your a girl it takes longer to get ready."

"i heard that! come on! were already 10 minutes late!"

faye glanced at her,"since when do you care if were on time or not?"

"since i found out those five have the power to fire us."

"good point. girls hurry up."

"yeah yeah, were coming," leighanne said coming out of the room putting on her jacket. "i personally think were WORTH waiting for but thats just me."

"and me," emma said coming out of the room behind her.

amanda rolled her eyes,"yeah yeah yeah. are you two ready?"

they both nodded and amanda picked up her keys,"well what are you waiting for? get your butts out to the car."

brian glanced at his watch,"its 20 after...."

"are you sure they knew you meant tonight?" kevin asked.

"yeah. i asked if they were busy tonight...i think..."

kevin rolled his eyes,"b...next time le--"

"there they are," aj said.

brian looked up and smiled,"see...told you i told them."

kevin rolled his eyes and stood up,"someone go get nick from the gift shop."

"ill do it," aj said. he got up and went into the gift shop while brian and kevin greeted the girls. he looked around and found nick over by the candy. he went down one of the side rows and snuck up behind him.

"dont even try it aj."

"...hey...how did you--"

"i saw you walk in. are they here?"

aj nodded and looked down at what nick had in his hand,"whats that for?"

"the girls. we didnt have enough time to by them flowers so i thought this might work," he said going up to the register to pay.

aj looked at him thoughtfully,"you know. if you werent such a dork with girls, you could be ALMOST as smooth as i am."

"...i would rather be a dork...THANKS." he took his bag, thanked the cashier, and headed out of the store with aj.

"being me is not a bad thing," he smirked.

"its not a good thing either."

"...hey..."

they walked over to where everyone else was waiting,"what did you buy now frack?" brian asked.

"oh, these are for the girls." he pulled out four long stem chocolate roses and handed them to the girls.

"awww thats so sweet. thank you," emma and leighanne said and each gave him a kiss on the cheek.

nick blushed red and looked down. aj saw what happened and cleared his throat,"well i gave him the idea," he said looking at amanda.

she rolled her eyes but couldnt help but crack a smile,"well congratulations."

he pouted and kevin rolled his eyes,"so is everyone ready to go?"

they all nodded and he held his arm out to faye,"well shall we?"

she smiled and took his arm. brian glanced at kevin and faye then offered his arm to leighanne. she laughed and took his arm,"what a gentleman, thank you."

nick glanced at emma,"uh...um..."

aj elbowed him,"spit it out."

nick turned bright red and looked down. emma gently took his hand,"come on. theyre all waiting for us."

nick managed to smile and nod.

aj glanced at amanda and reached over to take her hand. she quickly pulled it out of his reach and smiled innocently,"your cute but your not THAT cute." she said and went out to the limo.

nick glanced back at aj and couldnt help but laugh at the stunned expression on his face,"come on aj."

aj pouted and followed them out to the limo.

okay, we just got back from dinner...i had such a good time and from what was going on before i came upstairs, so were the other guys. leighanne was gonna take brian to the beach and faye and kevin were trying to decide whether they wanted to go see a movie or not. emma and amanda had to leave though. amandas funny even though shes mean to me. shes mean to aj but you can tell they like each other. marissa is gonna have a hissy fit when she finds out aj got her number but who cares what marissa does? not me. i think...if i work up enough nerve, im gonna ask emma out tomorrow. were pretty much spending the whole day on the set anyways...which is why i should probably go to bed. night.

"nick?" aaron said shaking his brother gently.

nick looked up from his journal,"yeah?"

"im done helping k?"

nick looked at aarons box that was about half full and rolled his eyes,"yeah, okay."

"is emma coming over later?"

"i havent called her. hand me the phone."

aaron handed nick the phone and sat on the bed. nick dialed emmas number and waited for her to pick up the phone.

"hello?"

"aj? i thought you were going to the movies with bri...."

"we are, we came to see if amanda or faye wanted to come with us."

"oh okay. why are you answering their phone?"

aj shrugged,"cause i was right next to it. whats up?"

"can i talk to emma?"

"yeah, just a sec. EMMA!!!"

nick winced,"aj dont yell into the phone!!"

"sorry, you dont have to yell in my ear...damn..."

emma took the phone,"hey poohbear. sorry about aj, he got in the candy jar."

"its okay. are you doing anything tonight?"

"nope. why?"

"aaron wants you to come over later."

"aaron or you?"

"does it matter?"

"yup."

"okay...what if i said i was the one who wanted you to come?"

she thought for a second,"then i would tell you i was busy."

"...hey..."

she laughed,"im kidding. yeah, ill come over about 8 and we can watch a movie k?"

"k, dont give aj anymore candy."

she laughed again,"i wont. love you."

"love you too. bye," he hung up the phone and turned to aaron. "she'll be over in a few hours."

"yay~~~"

nick laughed,"anyone would think shes your girlfriend."

aaron smiled and headed out of the room. he glanced at the mess in nicks room,"you better clean up before she gets here. shes not gonna want to come up here if it looks like this."

"thanks MOM. now go away."

aaron stuck his tongue out at him.

nick looked around at the mess in his room and pondered whether he should clean up or not. he shrugged it off and went back to reading his journal.
