"do you think she'll look any different?" brian asked kevin.
kevin looked out the window as the plane landed,"lets see...we havent seen her in five years...she was 14 then...i think she may look just a bit different,"he said sarcastically.
"sorry, stupid question..."brian said. "im so glad she agreed to come with us on tour. its going to be so much fun with her there."
kevin nodded,"yeah, someone else to pick on."
brian was about to say something when the loudspeaker came on,"flight 1284 from LAX now landing at gate 3."
brian looked at kevin,"shes here! omg!"
kevin rolled his eyes,"yes brian, i heard them...come on." he had never seen his cousin this excited but then again he hadnt seen his best friend in five years so kevin couldnt really blame him.
they walked over to the door to wait for her to get off the plane. "okay...lets see if we can figure out which one is her..."kevin said.
they watched as all the people got off the plane,"omg...is that her?" brian asked pointing.
kevin looked at where he was pointing and his jaw dropped. there was a girl with burgundy hair down to her waist, black shorts and a baby blue tank top with black platforms and a pair of sunglasses pushed back on her head to hold her hair back. she was wearing the tiniest bit of make up just to enhance her blue eyes. "uh...im not sure..."
she spotted them and her eyes lit up,"brian! kevin!"
brian smiled and ran over to her, he picked her up in a bear hug,"omg! em, its so good to see you!"
"you too bri! i missed you so much!"
"brian put her down, i want a hug too," kevin said coming up behind him.
brian laughed and set her down. "hi kevy."
he smiled and hugged her tightly,"hi em...wow...you look so different..."
emma smiled,"good different or bad different?"
"oh, definately good different...wow..."
she laughed,"thanks...so when do i get to meet the other guys?"
brian led them over to the baggage claim so they could get her stuff,"as soon as we leave here, their still at the studio so thats where were going to meet them."
she pointed out her stuff and the guys picked it up for her. "jeez em, five suitcases..."kevin said as he loaded them into brians jeep.
"hey...what do you expect, im moving to florida, i had to pack most of my stuff..."emma said and got in the passenger side.
brian got in the drivers side while kevin got in back,"most...you mean theres more? emma my house isnt that big..."
she stuck her tongue out at him,"yes theres more...brian, i promise its not that much, your house should be fine..."
he started the car and headed to the studio. the three of them spent the whole time talking about old times. they pulled up and got out of the car.
"hey kevy, can i have a piggy back ride?" emma asked sweetly.
he smiled and leaned down so she could jump on his back,"if you call me kevy, i get to call you baby girl..."
she jumped on his back,"kevy, im 19...im not baby girl anymore...but i guess its okay..."
he smiled and carried her inside with brian walking next to him. they walked into the studio and saw two of the guys sitting around on couches. kevin rolled his eyes,"i knew it, i leave the three of them alone and does one thing get recorded? no, of course not."
a short one with curly dark brown hair in a ponytail looked up,"oh hey kev, we were just taking a break..."
"uh huh...wheres aj?
"um...i think he went to call amanda and tell her where to meet us for dinner,"the other one said looking over kevins shoulder at the girl on his back.
"hello boys...you planning to introduce me?"
"no...do it yourself,"brian said sitting next to the blonde one.
"kevy...put me down please..." kevin set her down on the ground. she walked over to brian and smacked him in his head,"i love you too."
he laughed and rubbed the back of his head. he pulled her onto his lap,"okay...this is nick and thats howie, guys this is emma."
emma smiled,"nice to finally a meet you guys, you guys are all bri talks about...wow my friends would kill if they knew i was meeting you."
they all laughed,"so emma yo...whoa...are your eyes two different colors?" nick asked staring into her eyes.
she nodded,"yeah...ones dark blue and the other ones sea blue...kind of scary huh?"
he shook his head and continued to look into her eyes,"actually their really beautiful...wow..."
she blushed and smiled at him,"thanks."
brian rolled his eyes,"if you two are going to be flirting and making eyes at each other im going to get up." he stood up and left emma sitting next to nick on the couch.
"im not flirting..." emma said pouting.
"em, you smile at a guy and your flirting baby girl," kevin said and they all laughed. emma stuck her tongue out at them,"shut up.
"so as i was saying...your coming on tour with us?"nick asked
she nodded,"i guess my official title is personal assistant or something like that. i think im basically just there to help you with anything you need...except laundry, i dont do laundry."
they laughed and just then a guy with blue hair came in,"oh hey kev...we were just taking a break..."
kevin rolled his eyes,"yes aj...howie told me...aj, this is emma. emma-aj."
aj looked at her and smiled,"nice hair."
she laughed,"yours too."
"okay...since we obviously arent gonna get anymore work done today, you guys wanna go to dinner now?" brian asked.
they all nodded and stood up. emma and brian looked at each other then at the door then took off running. nick glanced at kevin,"they always do that to see whose going to drive..."kevin said laughing.
"hey kev...do you think brian would mind if i asked her out..."nick asked as they walked towards his car.
"oooh...nickys got a crush," aj sang in a little kid voice.
howie hit him,"leave him alone bone, you were the same way the first time you met amanda."
"yeah aj..."kevin said,"anyways nick...i dont think brian would mind, he might be a little overprotective but you have to understand em is like his baby sister so he feels like he has to make sure shes okay but he knows and trusts you so he shouldnt have a problem with it."
nick smiled,"okay...thanks kev."
"and if he does emma will probably smack the hell out of him," aj said laughing as he watched emma punch brian in the arm.
"okay okay im sorry!" brian yelled.
"good...now...i dont want to ride with you anymore...kevy did you drive?"emma asked.
kevin nodded and put his arm around her,"he cheated again didnt he?"
she nodded,"i thought so...okay ill take em...any of you guys wanna come with us or do you all want to ride with brian the cheater?"
"ill go with you," all the guys said.
brians jaw dropped,"oh thats just mean..."
howie shrugged,"that will teach you to mess with emma...now you have to ride alone and think about what you did," he said shaking his finger at brian.
emma tried not to laugh,"thank you howie." she stuck her tongue out at brian.
"okay i get shotgun,"howie called.
"but i have longer legs!"nick whined.
aj rolled his eyes. he pretended to stretch his arms and smacked nick in the back of his head,"just stop whining...so we can go...amandas waiting at the restaurant."
emma climbed into the backseat with aj and nick while howie and kevin got in the front. "hey aj...you wanna dye my hair for me?" emma asked resting her head on his shoulder.
he smiled and put his arm around her,"sure...what color?"
"hmm...i like yours actually...could you do that color for me?"
he nodded,"sure, after dinner we can stop at my house and get the stuff then go to bri's and dye it."
she smiled,"thanks."
nick watched the two of them, he wanted to say something so bad but he didnt know what. aj just got along with everyone so easily,' why cant i be like that?' he asked himself.
emma glanced at nick,"your so quiet...nothing at all like what brian described you as..."
nick turned slightly red,"...sorry..."
she smiled,"its okay...ill just have to get you to loosen up...i know...ill give you a massage when we get home."
"a massage?"nick stuttered.
"ooh em, can i have one?" kevin asked. "you guys...em gives THE best massages."
she laughed,"of course kevy and if you two want one ill give you one...nick?"
nick didnt trust his mouth to say something intelligent so he just nodded. she smiled at him,"...i have a feeling you and i are going to end up as a best friends."
