"dude! it was a good thing! leave me alone!" brian said as he ran downstairs, away from nick.

"but you totally embarrassed me! in front of someone you know i like!" nick yelled.

brian stopped behind the couch,"look. did you ask her out on a date?" nick nodded. "did she say yes?" nick nodded again. "then whats the problem?"

"you embarrassed me!!"

"so what?! you embarrass yourself on the stage all the time!"

"hey!"

brian smirked and turned to run but slammed right into kevin and fell on the floor,"aww man..."

kevin picked him up by his shirt,"where are you going in such a hurry bri?"

"o...um...uh...aw hell...just hit me if your gonna do it..."

"hit you? no, im glad you did that but nick, if you would like to hit him..." he turned brian around to face nick and held him still by the shoulders.

"thanks kev,"nick said. he walked up to brian and smacked him in the head.

"...thats it...?"

nick rolled his eyes,"im not gonna hit you any harder brian. you may be an ass but your still my best friend."

"aww, i love you too man," brian said hugging him.

nick started laughing,"get off me you idiot!"

kevin rolled his eyes and headed to the kitchen. "kev, we just ate..." brian said.

"i know. im just gonna get some popcorn. faye and i are gonna watch a movie in my room, so stay out."

"i wonder if emma wants to watch a movie. ill be right back," nick said and went upstairs. he knocked on the door to emmas room,"its nick."

emma closed her notebook and put it in her bag,"come in."

nick walked in,"...hi."

she smiled,"hi, whats up?"

"i was just wondering if maybe you wanted to watch a movie...with me..."

"sure. can you help me up?"

he nodded and went over to her,"would it hurt too much if i gave you a piggy back ride?"

"um...i dunno..."

he helped her up and turned his back to her. she climbed up on his back and held his shoulders.

"are you okay?"nick asked.

"yeah, im fine."

"k, tell me if it starts to hurt." he took her back downstairs where brian was deep in conversation with tyke.

emma giggled and whispered to nick,"does he always do that?"

nick smiled and nodded,"me and him are frick and frack...him and tyke are dumb and dumber."

emma laughed and brian looked up,'hey guys, whats up?"

"we were gonna watch a movie so could you and tyke take your conversation elsewhere?"

"why dont you just go watch whatever faye and kev are watching?"

nick rolled his eyes," because kevin probably wants to be alone with her and he said to stay out of the room."

"oh well, not gonna happen. come on," brian said. he picked tyke up and headed upstairs to kevins room.

"brian dont. i dont want to die..."nick said hurrying after him.

"nick wait. put me down," emma said.

nick quickly put her down,"are you okay?"

she nodded,"it just started to hurt a little."

"im sorry," he said. he kissed her on the cheek without thinking and took her hand,"come on. lets go before brian gets killed."

she blushed and nodded. they went into kevins room where brian had made himself comfortable on the foot of kevins bed.

"brian i told you to stay out..." kevin said.

"well nick and emma were gonna watch a movie too. so i thought we could all just watch what you two were watching. one big happy family."

"just so you know, this was ALL his idea," nick said.

"i just wa--"kevin started to say but was cut off by faye.

"sweetie, its okay. i dont mind." she moved closer to him and rested her head against his chest,"come on. theres room for you too."

"just so i know...where are aj and amanda? im not really worried about howie cause he has sense...." kevin said putting his arms around faye.

"um...i think amanda went to prove to aj that she could kick his butt at pool. i think howie is supervising," emma said getting on the bed next to nick.

brian laid down and rested his head on her lap,"so what movie are we watching?"

nick gave him a look but he just smiled innocently.

emma laughed and scooted closer to nick. he smiled and put his arm around her.

kevin rolled his eyes and faye laughed,"were watching 'ever after'."

both nick and brian made faces and emma smiled,"good choice faye."

faye laughed,"i wasnt the one that picked it."

"dont say a word," kevin said before nick and brian could say anything. "not one word."

brian tried not to laugh,"wouldnt dream of it."

about 10 minutes into the movie aj and amanda walked in the room

"hey guys," aj said making himself comfortable on the bed.

"dude, theres no more room," brian said.

"sure there is. come on amanda," aj said pulling her down next to him.

kevin made a face and pulled faye closer to him. nick tried to move emma away from brian. and aj set to work on braiding/messing up amandas hair.

brian smiled,"see...one big happy family."
