"emma, you ready?" amanda asked walking into the bedroom.

"yeah, i just gotta find my jacket," emma said looking around the room.

amanda rolled her eyes,"emma...."

"yeah?"

"its in your hand."

she glanced down at her hands,"...thank you."

"why are you so nervous?"

"cause i hate flying," emma said putting her jacket on.

"well im sure you'll be too distracted to even realize your in the air. wheres nick?"

"he went to put the bags in the car," she said as she went across the hall to another room.

"k and the other guys are meeting us at the airport?"

emma nodded and opened the door to the room. she smiled,"hi miss emily." she went over to the crib and gently lifted the baby girl out.

amanda smiled,"awww she looks happy."

emma smiled and tickled the baby girls tummy,"shes always happy, arent you sweetie?"

emily giggled and kicked her legs out in the air.

emma laughed and gently wrapped her in her baby blanket. she looked around the room, quickly picked emilys poohbear out of the crib, and glanced at amanda,"do i have everything?"

"why are you asking me?"

emma rolled her eyes and glanced at emily,"your auntie is no help at all." she shut off the light and headed downstairs.

nick came back inside and kissed her on the cheek,"car is loaded."

"k...can you take her while i got get her diaper bag? i left it in the kitchen."

"sure." he took the baby girl from her and smiled,"hi princess," he said kissing her on the cheek.

emily giggled and grabbed a handful of his hair.

amanda smirked,"ive trained her well."

nick rolled his eyes and gently pried emilys fist from his hair,"thanks amanda."

emma came back into the room,"k, lets go. wheres aj?"

amanda rolled her eyes,"impatiently waiting in the car of course. like a two year old, i swear."

"and just think," emma said as they headed outside and nick locked the door, "in two weeks you will be married and get to spend the rest of your life with that two year old."

amanda sighed dramatically, "dont remind me."

they went to the airport and the girls waited in the lounge with kristin, leighanne, and leighanne and brians little boy thomas.

kristin glanced at emily who was starting to fall asleep in emmas arms,"do you think she'll sleep the whole flight?"

"probably not but if she wakes up i dont think she'll be too fussy," emma said gently rocking her.

"thomas come here," leighanne called holding his jacket up.

"nuh uh, daddy."

"daddy went with uncle aj and uncle kevin, he'll be back in a minute."

thomas pouted and went over to leighanne to get his jacket.

nick came over to emma and kneeled down in front of her,"theyre gonna board us in a minute, you ready? do you want me to get you any asprin or anything?"

she smiled,"no, i should be okay."

"k, come on." he gently helped her up, got her bags, and took her hand.

they were heading to the gate when their flight number was called. nick froze slightly.

emma glanced at him,"nicky, whats wrong?"

"listen."

"flight 214 to paris france, now boarding."

emma nodded and gently shifted the baby,"yeah sweetie, thats us."

"emilys birthday. february 14."

"awww sweetie." she gently hugged him. "but you know what," she whispered to him, "she wanted you in paris for your 21st. Were a little late but its still what she wanted. shes watching over you. like your angel."

nick gently kissed her on her forehead and glanced down at the baby,"yeah she is."
