Finally the day they were heading off to Europe came. Aaron was also coming along because he was opening for the boys so Jane was coming as well. Amanda, Emma, Nick and Aaron were all at the Carters' getting ready. It was quite early in the morning and they were doing their best to stay awake. Jane was triple checking everything to make sure they weren't forgetting anything. Nick was sitting on his suitcase and dozing off and leaning forward. Amanda yawned and came by and gave Nick a slight push. He lost his balance and fell over. "Ow!!"

"Oops, my bad. Did I knock you over?" asked Amanda, trying to act innocent.

Nick picked himself up and said, "You did that on purpose."

"Yeah, well, you're awake now," said Amanda.

"Amanda…" said Emma, not even wanting to deal with this that early in the morning.

"Mom… they're fighting again," said Aaron, feeling the same way as Emma.

Jane already felt a headache coming on. "If both of you don't stop now, I swear I will ground you for the rest of the summer and don't think I won't enforce it just because you're on tour!!"

"…Yes Ma'am," they both said, timidly as they sat down on the couch.

"Good, now where was I…" said Jane, checking everything again. Emma helped her while Nick and Amanda kept blaming each other under their breaths. Once they finally got everything together, they got in a van and headed to the airport. All of the children were fast asleep on the ride there. Once they got there, they met up with everyone else. AJ and Brian were both sleeping on the seats while Kevin and Howie were making sure everything was set. Once Nick and Emma got to the airport, they were wide awake because all they could think about was flying. They both hated it. Amanda, on the other hand, was still tired. Brian and AJ took up all the seats near them. She looked back and forth at them.

"Brian…AJ…Brian…AJ…" she said, as she went up to AJ. She pushed AJ off the seats and said, "AJ." She then laid down on the seats and started to doze off. AJ woke up and sat there looking rather confused trying to figure out what just happened. He looked up and saw Amanda sleeping in his spot.

"…Hey," said AJ, rubbing his eyes and finally waking up. He stood up and stretched and just stared at her then shrugged.

Once their flight came to the gate, they all got together. "Do you guys have everything?" asked Kevin.

"Isn't there another way to get to Europe?" asked Nick pleadingly, although he already knew the answer. Emma linked arms with Nick and leaned against him.

Kevin completely ignored him and went onto say, "Let's get going then."

"I hate planes," mumbled Nick. They all ignored him and picked up their things and started boarding the plane. Amanda, Nick, and Emma were the last ones to get on. "I hate flying."

Amanda turned around and faced Nick, looking rather annoyed. "One more word out of you about flying, and you won't have to worry about it because you're going to be knocked out!" She then boarded the plane and Nick and Emma followed quietly. AJ quickly sat down, put his headphones on and closed his eyes. Amanda was sitting next to him by the window and she was looking out the window waiting for the plane to take off.

Nick and Emma sat down in their seats right next to each other, behind AJ and Amanda. They both looked quite nervous. Brian leaned over their seats from behind and said, "Frack, you've been on a plane a lot of times before, you should be used to it by now."

"Yeah and we have this discussion every time I get on a plane and has anything changed in the last couple of years? No~. Is it ever gonna change? No~," said Nick.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry," said Brian, sitting back down.

"Aww, Nicky calm down," said Emma, taking his hand, "just try to go to sleep and it'll be over before you know it." She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. He let out a sigh and nodded then closed his eyes.

The plane finally took off and Brian was looking out the window. "…I hope Tyke is okay," said Brian, looking rather worried.

"AJ managed to hear this through his headphones and said, "Maybe they forgot to close the back hatch and he fell out when we took off." Brian got the most frightened look on his face.

Amanda rolled her eyes and said, "Shut up, AJ. Brian, your rat is just fine." Brian pouted and said, "He's not a rat…"

After an hour or so after they took off, all of them were fast asleep on the plane except for Kevin, who was checking over their schedule and taking care of some business. Some of them woke up for the movie on their flight, which happened to be a scary movie, which sort of left a few of them a little jumpy. By the time the movie came on, Kevin was taking his nap. Once they finally landed, they all safely got off the plane -Tyke was fine- and got into two separate vans that took them to the hotel. AJ, Amanda, Nick, Emma, Jane and Aaron got in one van and Howie, Kevin, Brian, and management in the other. When they got to the hotel, they all went up to their rooms. Amanda and Emma shared a room, then Aaron and Jane, Brian and Kevin, Nick and AJ, and then Howie lucked out and got his own room. Amanda and Emma settled into their room and Emma laid down on her bed. She quickly fell asleep and Amanda also fell asleep on her bed soon after. Kevin and Howie fell asleep as well. Nick, AJ and Brian were off the plane and feeling much better and they all met in Nick and AJ's room and tried to figure out something to do.

"There's gotta be something to do, man," said Nick.

"Everyone's asleep," said AJ.

"You'd think they got enough sleep on the plane," said Brian.

AJ got an evil grin on his face. "…What?" asked Nick.

"Let's go visit the girls," said AJ.

"Dude, they're sleeping," said Nick.

"So we wake them up," said Brian.

"YOU can wake them up. I'm not waking Amanda up. I tried that once, I'm not trying it again," said Nick.

"Wimp. You're the one nicknamed Kaos too," said AJ.

"Yeah, well your nickname is Bone…oops, I forgot, it's Boner," said Nick.

"Dude, shut up," said AJ.

"First of all, my Mom is down the hall. I don't want to be grounded for the summer," said Nick.

"She's not going to ground you for the summer," said Brian.

"I'm not taking any chances," said Nick.

AJ rolled his eyes and said, "Fine. Rok, how are we gonna get in, though?"

"You don't have a key to their room?" asked Brian. AJ shook his head. They both then looked over at Nick. He glanced at both of them and backed away slowly.

AJ smirked and said, "You have a key, don't you?"

Nick frantically shook his head. "I think you do, Frack," said Brian.

"I think so too," said AJ, as they creeped up closer to Nick. Nick opened the door and darted out. AJ and Brian were quick to follow. They ran down the hall and caught him.

"Get off of me!!" yelled Nick, trying to get away from Brian and AJ. Right before Nick could get away, AJ managed to pull the key out of his pocket and he and Brian ran down to the girls' room. Nick ran after them. Brian and AJ halted to a stop and quickly opened the door. "You guys!!" Nick whispered in warning. They completely ignored him and made their way into the room. Both of the girls were sleeping soundly. Emma was completely under the covers and sleeping on her side. Amanda was half out of her covers and sleeping on her tummy. Brian and AJ both got evil grins on their faces.

"Hey, remember that scary movie on the way here?" asked AJ.

"Guys!!" warned Nick. AJ and Brian shut the door on him, locking him out. Nick's jaw dropped. "Guys!!"

AJ hid somewhere and Brian got into the closet. He poked his head out one last time and then slammed the closet door shut as hard as he could. Amanda and Emma both flinched and woke up. Amanda quickly sat up and looked around the room. Emma pulled the covers over her a little more. "What was that?" asked Emma.

"…I don't…know," said Amanda, looking around cautiously. They were surrounded by complete silence. That silence was soon broken by Brian and AJ jumping out of their hiding places, scaring the living daylights out of the two girls that jumped in fear. They both screamed slightly then stared silently at the two rolling hyenas, trying to figure out what just happened. The two kept laughing. Once Amanda figured out what happened, she glared at them and said, "What the HELL are you two doing in here?!"

"…How did you get in?" asked Emma.

The two hyenas just kept laughing. Amanda was enraged by now and threw her pillow at them. They both managed to dodge that but while they were dodging that, Amanda was already behind them with another pillow in hand and smacked them with it as hard as she could. "Ow!!" they cried out in unison.

"You deserved that," said Emma.

"It was just a joke! Jeez, we were bored and we wanted you guys to wake up," said Brian.

"How the HELL did you get in here?!" asked Amanda, getting more and more annoyed.

They then heard knocking and whining beyond the door. "Guys!!" said Nick's muffled voice.

"…He let us in!" AJ and Brian said in unison.

Amanda went to the door and opened it. Nick jumped when he saw Amanda's annoyed face. "Get in here," she ordered. He hurried in and she shut the door. "You let them in?" she asked sternly.

Nick frantically shook his head. "They stole the key that you guys gave me," said Nick. Amanda looked at AJ and Brian.

"Dude, you're twice our size," said AJ. Amanda looked back at Nick who was frantically shaking his head still.

"I swear Amanda, I did NOT give them the key! They took it out of my pocket," said Nick. Amanda sighed, getting rather annoyed. "Amanda, you gotta believe me!! You know I wouldn't try something like that on you… again…"

"Amanda, there's no way we could have taken the key from him. He's way taller than us," Brian continued.

"…You do have a point," said Amanda, picking her pillow up. Nick flinched and Brian and AJ smirked, but the pillow landed on AJ and Brian's heads.

"…Hey!! What'd you hit us for?!" whined Brian.

"Because you lied to me. I meant Squeaker had a point. Squeaker wouldn't try doing that to me again after what I did to him the last time he did. Not to mention that he may be taller, but the two of you together could probably manage to steal the key away from him," said Amanda.

AJ mumbled, "We just wanted you to wake up."

"Then you could have just knocked…" said Emma.

"But it was more fun this way," said Brian. Amanda hit him over the head again. "Okay…maybe not."

Amanda sighed and said, "Well, we're awake now. Now what?"

Brian shrugged and said, "I don't know."

Amanda glared at him. "Frick…I'd shut up now," said Nick.

"You mean you woke us up because you wanted to do something, but you didn't even know what you wanted to do?" asked Amanda, beyond annoyed.

"Um…yes?" said AJ, smiling innocently.

Amanda threw her pillow at them and pushed AJ and Brian out of the room. "OUT! Stay out, if you come back anytime tonight, you will not live to see tomorrow, GOOD NIGHT," she said, slamming the door on them.

Brian and AJ stared at the door for a second then Brian asked, "…Do you think she's mad?"

"…Nah," AJ replied.

Amanda sighed and mumbled obscenities under her breath and then fell back down onto the bed and fell asleep.

Nick breathed a sigh of relief and then thought a moment. "She actually believed me…" he said, rather amazed.

Emma smiled and sat up and said, "Well, she's not always a brat… she usually is but there's some exceptions."

"I'm really sorry about those two, I tried to stop them but they wouldn't listen," said Nick, sitting down on the edge of her bed.

"It's okay, I don't think those two are gonna try anything else anytime soon," said Emma.

"They probably shouldn't but they probably will," said Nick.

"…For their sakes I hope they don't…" said Emma.

Finally the big day arrived: the first date of their World Tour. All of them were down at the venue at about 11AM. They wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Kevin and Howie met early with the management and staff. At about noon they performed a sound check and the dancers were also practicing. Emma was helping out Denise and the other staff. Everyone was very excited considering this was the first concert of the tour. Amanda was excited but nervous more than anything. If she wasn't practicing, she was pacing back and forth constantly. Emma came over to her and sat her down many times, but she just got right back up and started pacing again. Emma finally gave up and went to help out Denise. Amanda had performed in front of an audience before but the numbers were nothing near the audience she had to dance in front of tonight. This continued the whole day and finally the boys and the dancers got dressed in their opening outfits. The boys were all nervous but pumped up for their first show. AJ was hopping up and down to get rid of some extra energy. Brian was trying to find someone to take care of Tyke while he was on stage. Kevin was talking to their keyboardist, making sure he had all the notes down for his performance. Howie was going over a few dance moves by himself and Nick and Emma were talking. Amanda, on the other hand, was still pacing. "I can't believe I get to see you guys live, in the front row, the first concert of the tour…" said Emma.

Nick laughed a little and said, "Em, you're backstage with us right now, you're with us constantly, and you can't believe you're gonna see us from the front row?"

"Well, that's different. You guys are performing," said Emma.

Nick smiled and said, "It should be a good performance."

"I wouldn't expect any less from you guys," she kissed him on the cheek and continued to say, "Good luck." Nick smiled and kissed her cheek then found the other guys. Emma and Denise headed out to their seats. Amanda, even five minutes before the show, was still pacing frantically.

AJ noticed her and came over to her and said, "You're gonna get dizzy."

"I already am dizzy," said Amanda, not stopping.

"Okay, whoa, wait," said AJ, grabbing onto both of her arms gently and stopping her. "Calm down."

"'Calm down'? There's like 50 bazillion people out there and you want me to calm down?! I have to dance in front of 50 bazillion people and you're telling me to calm down?!"

"Whoa…shhhh. It's okay. You're one of the best dancers and you hardly ever mess up. Just do what you always do and you'll be just fine. Okay?" he said, trying to calm her down. He gently wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug to try to calm her down. At first all this did was make her panic and turn bright red. But slowly she actually began to calm down and breath normally. She leaned against him for a little bit until they both realized that they were supposed to be on in about two minutes. AJ finally let her go and went to catch up to the rest of the guys.

"AJ…" said Amanda, right before he was about to dart off. AJ turned around. Amanda smiled and said, "…Thanks." He smiled and caught up with the other guys.

Although with all of Amanda's worries about the first show, it went perfectly fine. It was a great start to a new tour and the fans loved it. All the boys were hyped and put on a great show as well as the dancers and the band. Once Amanda got up there, she got over her nerves and did just fine. After the show, the boys, the dancers, and the band celebrated backstage. Jane took Aaron back to the hotel to get some sleep. AJ had gotten some alcohol and was bouncing off the walls even more than before. Nick and Emma left early because he wanted to take her out on a date so they shortly after headed back to the hotel as well. AJ bounced around patting people on the back telling them they did a "great job!" The remaining boys just rolled their eyes and ignored him. He then came up to Amanda and almost pounced her. She quickly caught herself before she fell over. "OMG, AJ, stop. You're gonna hurt yourself or someone else…" she said.

AJ just completely ignored her and hugged her tightly and kissed her on the cheek and said, "You did a grrrreeat (think Tony the Tiger…) job!" He kissed her on the cheek once again and then went off merrily to go pounce someone else. Amanda stood there completely frozen and very bright red. Amanda didn't see, but Brittney was quietly glaring at her.

About ten minutes later, after AJ had tried to pounce everyone at least once, Howie got a hold of AJ and said, "Okay, I'm taking him back to the hotel now… anyone need a ride?"

"I'll go," said Brian.

"Me too. I'm tired," said Amanda.

"Alright, come on," said Howie. They all headed out to the van and they headed to the hotel. Once they got to the hotel, Amanda went to her room and took a shower. Once they got back to the hotel, AJ finally calmed down a bit. Howie headed off to bed and AJ and Brian were once again bored.

"Amanda wouldn't mind if we visited her if she was awake, would she?" asked Brian.

"Um…probably not, but how are we going to go into her room?" asked AJ.

"Well, we could be normal and knock… or…" said Brian, taking out the key to Emma and Amanda's room.

"…How do you have that?" asked AJ.

"I stole it from Nick again when he wasn't looking," said Brian.

"And everyone thinks I'm bad… come on, let's go," said AJ.

Meanwhile, Amanda had just gotten out of the shower and was in the room just wearing a towel because she forgot to bring her change of clothes into the bathroom with her so she was looking for her pajamas. About a minute later, AJ and Brian opened the door and walked in. Amanda jumped slightly and turned around to see AJ and Brian, standing in her doorway just staring at her. She turned bright red and screamed at them. "GET OUT!!" She threw the pillows and a few books at them and they scrambled out laughing their heads off. Amanda was completely red and quickly went into the bathroom to change. Brian and AJ were outside still laughing their butts off. Amanda was pissed off but embarrassed beyond belief and she laid down and covered her head with her pillow. AJ and Brian finally calmed down and waited for Amanda to come out and try to smack them, but nothing happened and the room was quiet.

"…Shouldn't she be out here by now trying to kill us?" asked Brian.

AJ nodded and knocked on the door and asked, "Amanda, are you okay?"

"Go away," she said through the pillow.

AJ somehow heard that and said, "Well not until you tell me you're okay."

Amanda sighed and took the pillow off of her face. "You want to know if I'm okay…? You walked in on me half naked and you're asking me if I'm okay?!"

AJ couldn't help but laugh a little under his breath but said, "We didn't see anything." Amanda didn't answer. "Amanda, let us in…" No reply.

"…AJ, you have the key," said Brian.

"Oh yeah," said AJ, opening the door and walking in followed by Brian.

Amanda looked up and saw them. "OMG, how do you keep getting in??" she asked getting rather frustrated.

"We stole Nick's key again," said Brian.

"Didn't you embarrass me enough for one night?" asked Amanda.

"Hmmmm… nope. We thought we could watch a movie," said AJ.

"Just go watch it in your room!!" said Amanda.

"Look, Amanda, we're sorry. We didn't mean to embarrass you," said Brian.

Amanda took the key away from them and said, "Next time, knock."

She ended up letting them stay and they watched "Armageddon". Brian laid down on Emma's bed on his tummy while AJ and Amanda sat on her bed and sat with their backs against the bed frame. About an hour into the movie, Brian kept dozing off. He finally flinched awake and stood up. "I'm gonna go to bed. Good night, guys," he said.

"Nite Bri," said Amanda.

"Nite Rok," said AJ.

"Behave AJ," said Brian, leaving the room. AJ replied with an innocent smile and Amanda rolled her eyes. About 45 minutes later, Amanda fell asleep, completely exhausted. AJ didn't even realize it until he felt Amanda's head resting on his shoulder. He glanced at her and smiled. He then put his arms around her and continued to watch the movie.

By the end of the movie, AJ also started to doze off. Nick and Emma walked in. Emma smiled and Nick just stared at them. AJ started to lean a little closer to Amanda because he was dozing off more and more then Nick said, "What are you doing?" rather abruptly.

AJ flinched awake. He realized he still had his arms around Amanda and quickly let go and laid her down gently on the bed and quickly stood up. "We were just watching a movie and then we sort of dozed off. Nothing happened," AJ said. Nick just kept staring at him, with an eyebrow raised. AJ actually blushed and said, "I…I better go to bed. Nite guys." He rushed out of the room and shut the door.

Nick mumbled, "He better not have done anything…"

"Nicky, I'm sure nothing happened. If something did happen, AJ wouldn't be alive right now," said Emma.

"Yeah…well," said Nick.

"Besides, I think they like each other," said Emma.

Nick raised his eyebrow again. "Them? Like each other?" he asked. Emma nodded. "They're usually trying to kill each other…"

"Haven't you ever noticed how red Amanda gets around AJ at times?" asked Emma.

"…Well, yeah… But she's tried to kill him more times," said Nick.

"Well I still say they like each other and they're just too stubborn to admit it," said Emma.

"…You really think so?" asked Nick.

Emma nodded and said, "And I have a plan…but I need you to help me."

"Sure…What'd you have in mind…?" asked Nick.

"Well…" said Emma, smirking.
